How It Works:
When I went to the Treetop Adventure Park I was going with a few friends for a birthday party. When we got there I saw a smaller park with lots of smaller children on it. I remember thinking 'Is this it?' But I found out it wasn't. Once we had gotten into our harnesses and helmets, we walked down a dirt trail and there it was, four beautiful courses. At some rope courses, you have a belayer. This time you do it all yourself. You have these clips on your harness that always have to be clipped. You can only open one at a time so you never fall.
Courses:
The courses are designed to get you out of your comfort zone. They consist of zip-lines, and wooden bridges. They have four courses, one easy, two medium, and one hard. They also have an younger kid one. Each course is very different and go from 15-50 feet in the air!
'Pink course - is designed to be the next step or transition from the beginner courses. Eight different bridges including a zip line finish will ease you into the Intermediate/Advanced zone and prepare you for the intermediate courses.'
'Orange Course – is an intermediate course that has many of the most fun and exciting events you'll ever find in an aerial adventure park. Check it out!'
'Yellow Course – is the Canopy Tour course in the Intermediate/Advanced Zone. It contains eight different events with four zip lines totaling 500'. You will also walk across a 120' suspension bridge between "The Twins", two gorgeous twin Cedars estimated to be 600 years old'
'Blue Course – is the advanced course for those looking for the most challenging bridges and events. Comprised of 9 different events including a 100' and 300' zip line, this course should challenge even the most adventurous'
Over-All Experience
My over all experience at Treetop Adventure Park was nothing but simply amazing! I had so much fun! I really did get out of my comfort zone. I was really scared at first that the cables would break but now that I think about it, that was a silly thought. I really would love to go back to this rope course!!
